One trend that we have noticed in our wedding events recently is combining the wedding ceremony with the reception. If done correctly, it makes the day even more enjoyable for your guests by skipping a down-time between ceremony and reception, and a long drive with people getting lost or confused, especially out-of-towners. And of course, it can often help keep down cost as well.
At St Denis we have hosted weddings in all seasons. Our golf course provides a beautiful back-drop for an outdoor ceremony throughout much of the year. Though we cannot control the weather, we have more than once had to transition to a last-minute change to an indoor ceremony, and have been able to do so smoothly, calmly and comfortably for everyone involved.
We also can plan an indoor ceremony ahead of time. Consider seat covers with colored sashes for an extra-memorable effect. We can recommend officiants that we have worked with in the past, or of course feel free to use someone that you might be more familiar with.
Our ceremonies do have set pricing – generally the greatest portion of the cost is any equipment rental that you might request (chairs for an outside ceremony, a tent for something a bit more formal, etc), and we are happy to sit down and discuss with you at any time.
Our charge is $3 pp if you are having your reception at our beautiful Party Center, up to a maximum of $300 (plus any applicable rental charges). If you are having your ceremony with us but your reception elsewhere, the charge is $6 pp, up to a maximum of $600 (plus any applicable rental charges).
